RACING PERMITS.
PERSONNEi OF COMMISION. ON POPULATION BASIS. ( WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. ‘ The full personnel of the Racing Commission, which is to consider the redistribution of racing permits, was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the ‘Hon. G. J. Anderson, today., It is comprised of three North Island and two South Island men, representation being on a population basis. The members are: Mr P. Earl, K.C., of Auckland (chairman). Mr W. E. Bidwell, farmer, of Featherston. Mr. W. H. Moorhouse, solicitor, Wellington. Mr. J. H. Williams, solicitor, Christchurch. Major Rico, auctioneer, Wyndham. The order of reference is now being drawn up, but the date of the first meeting of the commission has not boon fixed.
