DEATH BY DROWNING.
CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 28
The body found on the north beaeh, New Brighton, yestercfey, 'has 'been identified, as that of Frank Jarvis, formerly engaged as a*cook at Warner's Hotel. He was single and had no relatives in New Zealand. A verdict of death by drowning was returned at the inquest.
SUDDEN DEATH
CHBISTCHURCH; Oct. 28.
Henry Robert Turner, married, aged 81, dropped dead this afternoon while carrying a sofa downstairs at" his home. At the inqUest a verdict of death from* heart failure was' returned.
