VENETIAN BALL.
TO-MORROW NIGHT
The Venetian Ball in aid of the Taihape Hospital Fund, which has been arranged for the Town Hall to-morrow evening, should be largely attended. The. arrangements are being made by the Taihape and District Returned Soldiers' Association, and are well forward/ in every way. The whole of the proceeds are to be devoted to the Hospital Fund, and the function is sure to meet with strong support. Prizes have been donated for the bestfancy costumes, and competition should be as keen as it usually is in connection with this class ot : entertainment in Taihape. Tickets are now on sale at the following prices: Double, 7s 6d; gent's, ss; lady's, 3s 6d; dress circle, Is.
