VENETIAN BALL.
The returned soldiers will hold a
Venetian Ball in aid of the Taihape Public Hospital on Thursday next, 28th inst., at the Town Hall. The hall will be a Venetian function and fancy dresses and masks are to be worn. Prizes w|ll be given for the best fancy costumes, and the ball should be one of the most ispectacular functions held here. Tickets are now on sale, and it is- hoped that the public will assist by purchasing tickets, as the whole of the proceeds are to be' handed over for the benefit of the hospital.
