On Friday, 29th October, the citizens of give a banquet to the returned soWers of the district, the function to comprise a, combined 'welcome home to and re-union qf returned men. Tickets at £ll/ each may be procured from Messrs F. M. "Marlow, J. R. Cunninghame, G. W. Wrightson. 8. Dunbar, and E. McLaughlan. All returned soldiers are invited, and invitations Have been posted to about 260 returned men in the Taihape district. These invitations should be presented by the returned men at the door on the night of the banquet. Returned soldiers who may have been overlooked when. the invitations were posted may procure tickets on application to the secretary of the Taihape Returned Soldiers' Association.
