Reieived 9.10 a.m. BERLIN, October 5. Professor Schlossman, in an article -in the Medical Journal, shows that the shortness of food' in Germany has not affected infantile mortality. On the oH'her hand, in Dusseldorf, the in-, fantile mortality in 1919 was only 10.6 per thousand, compared with an average all over Germany of 13.6 per thousand in 1916, 15.5 in 1917, and 15.4 in 1918.
