''ETERNAL LOVE.' * ■ Love of the little peasant girl who adored him, and who, as his model, furnished the incentive to fame and recognition, came to'Paul'easily, and was just as easily forgotten in the lure of Bohemian life in the Quartier Latin. She heard he was seriously ill, but she never forgot, and when" she* manifested her love by walking to Paris l from her country village, only to find that, as often happens, absence makes the heart grow fonder—of some one; else. Still love and devotion must have their reward, and though bitterly enlightened, no outward show displayed her grief, and in the time, of sore trouble she was willing to .forgive and forget—and woman-like lavish on an undeserving, mere creature thait; wealth of comfort and protection that her soft arms promised —and Mignon was happy. All the romance,'the youth, the charm, the Bohemian atmosphere, gay students, and bewitching models; in fact, all that attracted and charmed in "Trilby," the famous ''Quartier Latin," where to starve for a week adds to life's little joys, the friends that count who equally share fame and sorrow. THE KING'S PICTURES AND VAUDEVILLE. The English Picture Producer, now that his oportunity has come, is proving ithat he can release" pictures equal to and often superior to the American productions. He is able to call on the vast array of threatieal talent of the English stage, and on the magnificent stories by a great variety f§f famous English authors, and on the successful plays* that have been seen in English theatres. From the latter class the film feature "Under Suspicion" has been taken. The play was one of the really big successes in London last year, and with the author Horace Hunjt.er in the leading male part, assoeiaited with such a star as Hilda Bayley, it has been transferred to the screen as a super-production of j conspicuous merit Tjy the Broadwest Film Co.
Pearl White in the ""Lightning Raider" neels no introduction, this serial long having been sought after as the best appearing on. Ithe S?.Z. screens. Standard prices will rule for this three-fold attraction.
