° BALLOT at OWHANGO
The twelve sections which were hallo tted for at Owhango on Wednesday attracted great interest amongst discharged soldiers. One hundred and ten applicants put in for the ballot, and of the dozen lucky winners nd less than ten are King Country residents. The following are the results of the Various drawings:—Block IV., Kaitieke S.D., from \ to 21 miles from Owhango: Section No. 33, 155 acres, A. E. Pope; No. 34, 117 acres, H. W. Christian; No. 35, 125 acres, L. G. H. London; No. 36, 135 acres, F. W. Charteris; No. 37, 115 acres, J. L. Franklin; No. 38, 153 acres. W. J. Hill; No. 40, .138 acres, W. T. Carlson. Block VII., Makotuku S. D., 2J miles from Ohakuno: No. 1, 162 acres, W. E. Eobertson; No. 2, 137 acres, F. H. Geraghty. Block VI., Kailieke S.D,. eight miles from Owhango: No. 1, 606 acres, L. F. H. Barber; No. 3, 872 acres, J. C. Sullivan.
