new York, Sept. 23
A poignant story of the Russian revolution is told by the American Red Cross. Hundreds of devoted'parents in Moscow and Petrograd, in irhc spring of .1918, sent their children for safety to the Urals, but found it impossible to continue sending remittances to the supervisors and nurses and teachers. Gradually, the . children were abandoned, and many lived naked in it he woods on roots and berries, and were unattended and unprotected. The American Red Cross in Siberia [removed eight hundred, who have now arrived in Europe. The Society Is searching for parents, the fate of whom in most cases is unknown. Others are scattered and have long ago despaired of again seeing their children.-
