The Government has approved of a proposal by the Minister oflEducation to invite foreign educational lectures throughout China. QUEENSLAND CHEESE. CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE. Received 9.40 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 14. Cheese importers who contracted for the purchase of fifteen hundred tons of Queensland cheese at thirteen pence per pound 1'.0.b. are now willing to increase the price by a half-penny per pound, as the Government price 'of butter has been increased. 4t is understood that the importers are willing to take from other "States at the same price. COMMERCE CONGRESS. ARRIVAL OF DELEGATES. Received 9.40 a.m. OTTAWA, Sept. 14. Oversea delegates to the Imperial Congress of Chambers of Commerce, which opens at Toronto on the 18th inst. are arriving by each incoming steamer. One hundred landed at Quebec yesterday. After the sessions, the delegates will visit various sections of the country.
