SINN FEINERS' RUSE.
AERIAL MAILMAN TRICKED. LONDON. Sept. 14. Sinn Feiners in Skibbereen cleverly captured mails delivered by aeroplane from Bantry. They marked a large white circle in a field and stood nearby in. military uniform. The aviator mistook the circle for a military sign and dropped the mail bags into it. The Sinn Feiners quickly placed the bags in a motor car and disappeared. > . THE CORK HUNGER-STRIKERS. LONDON, Sep?. 14. This is the thirty-fifth day of the hunger-strike in Cork gaol. Friends of Hennessy, a youthful hunger-striker, made a protest that he was guiltless and could prove an alibi if he chose to answer the charge. General Willis held a midnight court and secured some evidence regarding Hennessy's innocence, ffrough his friends* generally refused to appear before the courtmartial. MILITARY TO BREAK SINN FEIN. AN AMAZING STATEMENT EONDON7 Sept. 14. The Sinn Feiners' leaders have issued an amazing statement to the effect that the military in Ireland, in conjunction with certain members" of the Cabinet Save decided to break the Sinn Fein movements and that the methods include the assassination of members of the Dail Eireann, the arrest of hundreds of local and intensified terfSrism against the Irisli people. TROOPS PLACED UNDER ACTIVE SERVICE CONDITIONS. The Irish command has ordered the 'Wives of all soldiers serving in Ireland to return to Britain, thus placing the troops under active service conditions.

The Sinn Fein balance-sheet, prepared by the "Irish Republic Finance Minister" states: "AlTiiougl: we have beard of considerable sums being in the hands of our friends in Australia for the self-determination fund, we have no t yet received any money from Australia, except £175 from three West Australian individuals."
