RETURNED SOLDIERS' BALL.
The annual ball under the auspices of the Taihape and District Returned Soldiers' Association .will be held in the Town Hall on Thursday,.23rd September. The committee has arranged for music by a special orchestra, and special attention is being devoted to the decorations and to the supper arrangements. In view of the work which has been done by the R.S.A in regard to the disabled men. and to the dependents of deceased soldiers, any function which has for its object the provision of funds to carry on with snch work is deserving of public support. Tickets are now on sale at the following prices:—Double 7/6, gent's 5/-, ladies' 3/6.
