OBITUARY.
HON. W. D. S. MacDONALD.. WELLINGTON, This day. The Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald; leader of the Liberal Party in Parliament, died suddenly at his home at Kelburn. shortly before mdinight. It is presumed that heart failure was the cause of his death. He was 56 years of age, and leaves a widow, two sons, and three daughters. He had recently returned from a healthrecruiting trip to Auckland, and was in Parliament yesterday, when hespoke twice.
