UMBRELLA STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
Suffering from: shock and burns, the result of .lightning, Westwood, caretaker of St. Paul's School, Mid Hill, yas admitted to Pinehlcy Cottage Hospital. Mrs. Westwood was caught in a thunderstorm in New Road, MiH Hill, was admitted to Finchley Cottage was struck by lightning, and burst into flames. The •woman's hat and clothing took fire, and she was badly burnt about the head and shoulders .
