Mr Beeby has been appointed Judge of the Arbitration Court in succession to Justice Haydon. He will later become President of the Board of Trade. Mr eßeby was returned as a progressive at the last elections, and his withdrawal from Parliament gives the Government an_ additional vote for the lime being.
