CROWN LANDS.
WELLINGTON LAND BOARD. The ordinary monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held on Wednesday. The Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr G. H. M. McClure) was in the chair, and there were also present: Messrs J. Dawson, J. Geornetti. H. T. Ellingham. and C Mclntyre. Two ballot? for sections 2(5 and 24 of the Pihautea 'Settlement, under the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Act, 1915, were held, the successful applicants bing Mr. J. Mj aS( m and Mr. Eager respectively. With the exception of the granting of several transfers, the rest of the business was transacted in committee.
