_Mr Roosevelt, interviewed, said: The League will be the dominant issue in the campaign, and .1‘ will make it so in my speeches. The third party’ by means of conferences continues the attempt to amalgnmate the various elements which ‘are dissatisfied with the Répub]i.can and Democratic parties, and Having partially succeeded, announced the seven -groups: American c-onstiutional party, American party of Texas, single tax’ party, nonpartisan league, South Dakota world war veto-rans, and the private soldiers’ and sailors’ league. A committee of forty-eight from each State declared its intention to issue :: ])la.t.form and to choose one set of candidates. The National Labour Party is the only group which has not yet. decided to join the third party amalganmtion.
