THE KING'S. The Vitagraph Star Serie s Blue Ribbon releases are regarded as amongst the highest class of film productions-to-day. A few years ago Vitagraph led the field—then little was heard of them for a while —but recently under new management they have again readied Their pictures are popular-^,»&eir artists are all talented —and capable—and the productions are fully satisfactory. Their latest .•release Is a strong virile drama entitled "Silent Strength" with Henry T. Morey in the lead. The story introduces the dual character problem and gives it a decided novel and interesting twist, making it the best double picture seen for some time. The double exposure is wonderfully well dene and the photography generally is exceedingly beautiful. Altogether "Silent Sterngth" is one of the strong attractions of the screen. "Sally's Blighted Career" is an excellent comedy to be shown. TOWN HALL—TO-NIGHT. » The whole world goes crazy except one man, and he is arrested on a half score of charges involving offences that never were committed. It is funny and the folk s all are so serious about it that the spectator fairly bursts his sides laughing with George Walsh, in the new comedy-drama "Help! Help! Police!" to be shown at the Town Hall to-night. It is exciting too. as well as funny, and is not be missed. On the same programme to-night Madlaine Traverse will be presented in a powerful drama of a woman's loyalty "The Love That Dares." A permanent attraction at the Town Hall is the stoves which nightly glow red-hot and render the whole hall delightfully warm and cosy. It is a revelation to most people, and greatly enhances the enjoyment of the pictures.
