BREAKING OF THE DROUGHT.
MARKETS REVOLUTIONISED.
SYDNEY, J une 15.
For many months gthe Hionifebush market has been overcrowded with stock from droughf-stricken areas. Axnongst the oiferings were many thousands of breeding ewes and young wethers, which sold at sacrificial prices. With the coming of _rain, however, the position has conwpletely altered. There is a great demand for re-stocking purposes, and ‘this has caused prices to rocket and large_ly d_e;plete the market for mutton supply.‘ In lesser degree, the cattle ma.r]_<et. has been similarly affected. .
