Originality and novelty are the keynotes of the I‘ierrots’ success. Musical gems, monologues, character sket_ches_, burlesque «:lv:anlas, potfed plays, dances, and inlpersonu.tions are amongst the items in the promised bill-of-fare, the advent of which should arouse delightful memories of the «previous visits of the English Pierrots. sists of nine female and seven male pel'fornl«ers, four of the ladies forming the instrumental‘ ol'clle.-t.ra, which is a special feature of the programme presented. In addition to which there are nine ladies entirely new to the combination. The balance of the male picrfirm are the popular favourites of past seasons, and include the excellent. comedians. Mr W. P. Turner and Mr Charles Lawrence, entertainer, both being well and favourably remembered from previous visits. The programmewill serve to introduce several capital items, zxflording ample scope for the individual and collective abilities of the members. Referring to the previous visit of the six weeks’ season last year, the Dominion (Ist June, 1917), says: “There was not a. vacant seat in the hall last evening. . -. This clever and well-balanced combination have made such a distinct impression with the AWellington public that theii‘ patrons would like the season clon-
