There was a. steady demand throughout with values firm for choice and prime quality ox. Other classes were easier, Extra choice ‘ox sold for £2 12/ per mfllbs, prime and choice £2 8/ to £2 11/, ordinary and plain £2 3/ to £2 5/; c_ow afnd heifer beef £1 15/ to £2 3/; rough beef £l'7/ to £1 16/.
