A meeting of the Winter Show dommittee was h'é‘ld last night, when Messrs Doole, Stent, Terry. MCCOII, W. R. Andergon and J. A. Anderson were present. .
Mr W. Illston was appointed judge of the Swede Crops wh'ich will bejudged this week_ Messrs Spfféner and McCombiewaited on the committee to suggest that a Dog Trial should be held on the Recreation Ground on the same date as the Show. It was decided to adopt. the idea and prize money to the amount of‘ £3O was all,-otted. The twogentlemen mentioned undertak'ln"g tosecure the amount. Messrs Spooner, Mccombie, A. McColl, McHardy, F. R.Cottrell, Collerfon, ‘Whittle and W. Batley were appointed as .steW7ards for the event, subject to their accept-» ance.
