BRAWLS AT OKAHUKURA. 1 ......._.._ A willing “€01” between a Party Of white men and a band of Hindoos made Okahukura an interesting place on Saturday night last. Four tor five Hindoos went out from Taumarunui by the 9.0 pm, train’, and some of the Okahuliura tunnel workers also went, alighting at Okahukura. A dispute arose as to the ownership of a pair of boots on the rack in the carriage. In the struggle for possession a stick was brlought into play with distressing effects on the facial beauty of one or two of the tusslersi. After maiuling each other in excessive exuberance for some time the squabble petered out Not knowing the extent. of tlietmuble at the time, Sergt. W. - Miller sent Constables F. Ebbett and M.
