GREYMOUTH, May 7.

The Methodist General Conference discussed a suggestion that the SOIO- - Island dist.l'ict, including Bongainville and Fuka, be transferred to the New Ze:l.l:uld Conference in 1922. Rev. Lawry declared thitt if the Dominion was to accept financial responsibility while the general conference retained the larger share of the administration, New Zealand would say, “No thank you.” She would not accept responsibiiity without control.
