THE CREVV MISSING.
SUVA, May 7.
An‘ A-uerican schoonef, believed to be the Defender‘; was wrecked on a reef between ‘Oge-a, and the Fulaga. Lau Group, Fiji. The crew of 15 left the wreck in a I6cal cutter two weeks ago, and have not since been heard of. The mast~c.r. arrived at Lakoba Island on May 31‘d, in a. cutter, and is now on his way .to'"‘ Suva. The Def'onder had a cargo of‘ lumber for Levuka.
