ANZAC DAY.

Sunday next, April 25th, will be observed thrdugthout '-the -Dominisons finder the Southern Cross as Anzac Day-—of sad, though glorious memory, ‘and it is= quite appropriate that this day should be solemnised in a fitting manner. The local churches have combined to hold a memorial service in the Town Hall, when hymns and addresses appropriate to the occasion will ‘\be rendered. We cannot lay a wreath on the graves of our departed kinsmen. but we can unite in laying a tribute at the Throne of the Almighty for those brave fellows wheo laid down their lives for their country. There is» no need to point out the path of duty, and we hope to see a large attendance at the Town Hall on Simday afternoon. The service will commence at 3 pm. M
