MUNICIPAL BRASS BAND.

A practice of. the Municipal Brass Band was held on Monday evening, under the conductorship of Mr Geo. Brice. \The practice suffered consid« erably for want of instruments, men having taken instruments away and not attending the practice. At a; meeting, after the practice, it was unanimously resolved to call all instruments in with a View to ‘re-organ-r isation and redistribution. In this issue all members of the band, and others having Borough instruments in their possession are notified that? those holding instruments must either attend practice, send in the instruments in their possession, or furnish‘ a satisfactory explanation, on or be fore Friday next, April 16. All 3neln—hers are earnestly asked to render all the aid they can to enable the Band to earn the bonus voted by the Council before the end of the year, near at‘ hand. .
