i . ———o-—-—- | QUERY FOR BOARD OF TRADE. ’ A comparison of -the respective iprices charged for blankets and sheets. in New Zealand and in the Old Coun~ try has led -the Soldiers Mothers’ League to make representations to the Board of Trade on the matter, The question was considered at a. largely attended meeting of members in the Auckland Chamber of Commerce last week. An advertisement was read from a London paper of last November giving the price of extra heavy fleecy blanlfets for full-sized beds at 19/11 per pair; heavy grey twilled sheets, full doulbile size, at 19/11 per pair. The price in New Zealand being four and five times that amount for the same articles, it was decided to forward the advertisement on to the Board of Trade for its solu~ tion of the great difference between the Home and local prices.
