"THE DANDIES OF 1920."
On Tuesday evening next at. the Town Hall, “The Dandies of 1920” will appear. Of this latest Bl'£lllS-eombe-Hopkins enterprise an exchange says:——“Tlle reputation which the “.Dandies” have made for themselves in many towns of the Dominion with briglit and refreshing musical comedy entertainments llas been further enhanced by their latest successes. and they thoroughly deserved the large and enthusiastic audiences which greeted the initial performance at the Empire Theatre on Saturday. They came in new costumes of amber and black, with an entirely new programme, plus the old-time dash and vivacity, for whieh their combination has become so well and favourably known. From the openin;_l' overture to the end of the programnie there was not a dull moment. in the en‘r.er’rainnlent, and double eneores were common, while in one case one member of the party had to return a third and fourth time. so insis’r.ent were the members of the audience for further numbers. The box plan is now open at Pratt and Co.’s.
