THE KINGPS. ’ “HAYS}li~l])r~‘ IN >.'YD.\‘EY.”‘ “The Hays(*cd.~ Come tn Town,” being the second of the “11:.','s.eeds” series, is being shown at The King’s Theatre. It depicfg the visit to town of Dad, Mum, and all the Hayseed’ family. Sydney is the scene Of their e.\';»l:)its. and the picture is 4000 feet of wholesome fun. All {he picture was acted in the open air. Comedy stunts were done at Sydney railway stmtion, in George Street, outside the Post Oflice, ‘Hotel ‘Australia, Hyde Park, Circular Quay, the Manly boat, Manly Beach, Sydney Zoo, the Domain, the Gardens, White City; in fact, every important part of Sydney Was used as Background for the picture. The “Hayseeds” pm-um are new and novel, a.n(T are making for themselves a very big public. A splendid New Zealand series of sports on the Waikato will also be shown. On Wednesday Alice Joyce will be seen in “The Spark Divine.” OUR P|CTURES—TOWN HALL.

Another splendid Metro feature will" be shown to-night only at “Ours,” Town Hall. Bert Lytell, .=.c-:'r=enlanrd*s-newest favourite, apears in “The Lion's Den,” :1 story full of strong human appeal and moments of whimsical humour. The story tells of a. young clergyman who Wishes to build a club for the boys of his flock. His parish is a poor one and his appeal to the wealthy members of the congregation for the necessary funds meets with a very meagre, and I:ight~ fisted response. He «letermines to enter the “Lionfs Den” of commerce and earn the money himself. He opens a grocery in opposition to that of one of his wealthiest churchmembers, and the fight that follows is dramatic and humourous in turns. The climax is very well thought. ‘out, and the romance that runs through the piece is very pretty indeed.

Miss Ruby Hammond at the piano greatly enhances the enjoyment of the pictures at “Ours” with new, catchy and appropriate music, exceptionally Wiil played.
