PRICE OF BEER.

.A"ASLIGHT INCREASE. At :1. meeting last night of the Wel» lington Licensed iVctuallei-s’ Association, it ‘was’ decided that, in view of the increa-sed price of 3beer ‘imposed on them by ‘the brewers. that all beers sold in p'u'blic bai-she not less than fivepence. The meeting also decided to increase the price of beer sold in “square riggers” from tenpence to one-shilling, customers to supply their own bottles. Beer 1-etniled in “-square 1-iggers,-,_” “‘delllijolnls,” etc., will be oh:J.l',ged for at the rate of 4‘/ a, gallon. The price of all other liquors, including bottled beer, remains the same.
