WELL-INGTOI\*, Feb. 24. At the annual mating of the Newspeper Proprietors’ Association of New Zealand to-day it was unallimousl_V decided, in View of the ever-increas-ing cost of news print, and the cost generally of production, that :1. uniform rate of twoponcc per copy should
‘be charged for all daily papers. The new price will come into force early next month,‘ as soon as newspapers can make the necessary arrangements. A. committee was set up to make exhaustive inquiries into the possibilities of making news print in the DO- - Mr P. Selig was re-elected chairman‘ of the Association.
