OBITUARY.
; MRS A. c. NICHOLLS-. A widely known and highly respected Taihape resident, Mrs A. C. Nicholls, passed away, in Wellington, last Saturday ffiorning, at 2 o’clck. The deceased lady had not‘ been strong for some time but she took seriously ill about a fortnight ago, and Went into the R-uanui hospital; she was transferred from there to Wellington, and had not rpleuro-pneumonia supervened medical assurance -is. to the end that the deceased would very soon have been ill’!Ler"’lTs'lial"s‘tate of health. Much sympathy will be felt for Mr 'Nicholls, and his family in their severe bereavement. The deceased was the -third daughter of the late William Potter, of Epsom, Auckland, and was only 50 years: of age at death. The funeral left Mr Nicholls’ residence at 1 D-In. today for the Taihape cemetery. . "'

Norman. Kelly,‘ I;-flied 15 months, son of Hugh Kelly, an employee at the Wziipaoa freezihg works, fell down a bore 17 feet deep and 10 inches in diameter, which the father had sunk!
