THE PUBLIC HOSPITAL.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,-—-I crave for a small space in your invaluable paper. It is rumoured that there is going to be a change in the administration of our local hospital, within three weeks hence. The domestic staff is very much understaffed. How much longer is the Taihape Hospital going to be without a wardsmaid? We have I am informed a. first-class woman cook and a porter with not less than ten years experience in leading hospitals in New Zealand. The only two gaps that want filling is a gardener, because the grounds are in a shocking state, being very much overgrown with weeds, etc., and a wardsmaid. I trust that my letter will draw the attention of an abler pen than mine. Thanking you in antic-ipation.~—l am, etc.,
A 30 YEARS TAIHAPIAN. Taihape. Feb, 15. 19-20.
