An-gus John MlcCurdy and Flora l\lary McCul-dy were proeeeded against. by Robert Semplc, on charges that they published in the Hutt _.Vallcy In’depon(.lent unfirue statements of and concerning Sample, calculated to influence votes so-f electors, as follows: “I am a German, and proud of it.” Semple was lat Auckland during the 1914 strike, but at the Upper Hutt the otlier night he posed as an Australian, but lie is not the only Red Fed Australian ficith Hun blood in his veins. The case stands adjourned.
