HOWARD ELLIOTT MEETING.

DISTURBS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. GREYMOUTH, Jan. 26. A young man. Archibald O’Connor, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-day with being concerned in the smashing of windows on the occasion of the Rev. Howard Elliott’s meeting on October 20th last. The accused was committed for trial, bail being allowed the defendant, who pleaded not guilty, and reserved his defence. This i s the third committal for a similar offence.
