THEIVING AT A HOSPITAL.
THREE SISTERS CHARGED. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 6. Three sisters, named Tinnelly, all of whom had ‘been employed at the Christchurch Hospital as Wardsmai<ls', were charged to-day with having stolen goods to the value of £ll 1/, the property_of the Hospital Board, and other wardsmaids. Evirlencg was given that for some years thieving at the hospital had been It. somewhat serious matter. Accused had been caught stealing, but it was not suggested that they were the only culprits. The two elder girls were ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, and to report to the probation ofiicer Weekly for twolxe months, also to pay certain e:<pel.ses, while the younger girl Was ordered to‘ report to the Catholic priest in her district once a weeli for one year.
