SAD POISONING CASE.

DEATH OF TWO-YEAR-OLD CHILD.

A sad and very distressing fatality occurred in Taihafpe this morning, by Which James’ Charles Martin, the two-year-oid son of Mr and Mrs Charles. Martifi, of Kuru Road, lost his life. It appears that the child took a. bottle of carbolic oil from the dressing table in his mothers’ bedroom, and drank the contents, dying within 3. quarter of an hour. Great sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents in their affliction.

An inquest is being held this afternoon by the Cordner, Mr J. P. Aidridge:
