HAMILTON, Oct. 29.

A farmer named George Jamieson, of Hamilton Efast, appeared before Mr H.‘ A. Young, S_M., at Hamilton yes-rte;-flay, charged with leaving a number as young calves in the Hamilton saleyards witho-ut proper shelter during a coldwet night in August last. Constable Clausen said his attention was drawn to the saleyards by the noiee the calves were making.
