A FATAL MISTAKE‘
DUNEDIN, Oc.t_ 6. Jean MCCallum, aged 45, married, residing at South Dunedin, died in the hospital last night, having been admitted earlier in the day. It is understood she took some iiniment in mistake for medicine.

At the adjourned inquest on Cath—erine Fage, a young woman who died suddenly a’§ Palmerston North last Week, the Coroner said «there was no certainty as to the cause of death, though it was probably due to an embolism as a result of the use of a syringe in an endeavour to procure miscarriage.
A FATAL FALL.
CHRISTCHURCH, Oct_ 6.
Walter Crossley, a married man aged 59 years, who was working at the V\7OOIStOII tanneries, fell five feet on to a concrete floor. He was removed "to hospital, but died on the Way.
