Choice ox sold'up :.n £3 3/ per 100 lb, prime from £2 18/ to £3 2/, plain and rough beef 110 £2 147, cows and heifers £2 5,’ to £2 16/. Steers ranged in price from £l4 to £2B 15/, and <'ox\~ from £8 to £2l 5/. ‘ Messrs Bucklancl and Sons rep.»-tell an extra large yarding of calves, fat and young ones coming forward in extra large IIIIIYIbE3I‘S. Runners were slightly easier in price. All other classes remained abrut the name as last week’s rates. The New Zeaiand Loan x‘=‘nulJ3ll.V penned beef in scarcely average numbcrs. Conipetitir-11 was not so K 9911, prices being slightly easiez. Choice ox sold up to £3 4/ pet: 100113, prime from £2 18/ to £3 2/, rough and inferior from £2 10s to £2 16/, and cow and heifer beef from £2 12/ to £2 17/. No extra heavy cattle Were yarded. Steers sold from £l6 to £24 17/6, cows and heifers from £9 10/ to £l6 5/_
