He was seized and put against a Wall, says the London Evening News, and two German officcrs emptied . the contents of their automatic pistols into his body_ Nine bullets tooks effeet, and Sergeant Mcrrigan wsa left for dead. V
He was picked up by our own forces, and after 3. long spell in hospital was invalidefl. to England by way of Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, and Holland.
