CLOSE WELLINGTON, July; 17. The Wellington Licensed Vi'ctualers have decided to close hotels on Saturday. k CHRISTCHURCH RETURNED SOLDIERS NOT TO PARTICIPATE. CHRISTCHURCH, July 17. The returned soldiers have decided not to take part in the military procession on Saturday afternoon. The chief reasons for their decision are that the big football match between the returned men~and the Canterbury reps, will take place simultaneously with the procession; that no invitation was issued to the Returned diers’ Association to take part in the procession until after arangements had been made; and thuf there was some little unpleasantness following the last returned soldiers’ parade on Anzac Day.
