PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the above: Society was held in the Nurse’s room Town Hall, on July 4tll_ Present: Mos-‘ dames Joblin (chair), de Lautour, l""1ers0n, Matthews, Lollghnan, Nathan, Timbs, Bennett, McCOl‘mick,~ Shute, McLennan, and the secretary. . The minutes of the June meeting were received and confirmed; iIICOm~ ing correspondence was read and discussed and accounts passed for pay-_ ment. As the annual sub'script.ions are now due streets were allotted to those who collected last year. The Society win be grateful to receive a donation from anyone interested in its Work. Nurse Mcßride reported that dlr. ing the month of June there were seven new cases; ninety eight visits hadbeen paid to different homes and seventy three visitors had. been ppceived at thevvarious offi’c'es. Apart from colds, the general health of the children was good.
