' - " NOTES BY “ONtLOOKER.” -T ' , One of the most; interesting games. seen in Taihoarpe was played between Huia A and Old Girls on Thursday, _ and both teams are t'o'be’cenlpl'imen:ted " On the game, considering it was the first of the season. The Old Girls decidedly showed the. best ebmbination.

Leahy could do with more practice as full-back. The balance of the "team played Well, but I think special mention is due to B. Hay and M. Spooner, who both played a sterling game, and were ably supported by one or two’ other players in the forwards. The Hll-ia team appeared to be fall to pieces. Only C. Donovan, E. Sinclair, P. Currie, D. Bray, and the goal-keeper, M. Siddle, being at all prominent.
