DISPOSITION OF BRITISH TROOPS.

Following is the distribution of British droops over the world:—206.000" form the army of the Rhine; 214,000 S in France and Flanders, mainly occupied in salving the battlefields, but i act as reserve to the Rhine army; J 11,000 in Italy, including garrisons at Fiume and Scutari; 22,000 in Constantinople; a similar force in TransCausasia; 96,000 in Egypt and" Palestine, including 10,000 !N"ew Zealanders; 21,000 in Mesopotamia; 62.000 in India; 1400 on the Siberian railway.
