The effect of its arrival Would, of course, be to bring down the. prices which the Chicago Meat TrITST is able to extort from theßritiSh 0011- I Lsumer. The British Go_vernlm‘nt is ‘taking care that this shallnot occur by reserving for the British army the only Australasian exports that it‘ permits .'
