! Amongst the most geneifius suplporters of the Trentham Scholarships EAI-t Union have been the farmers of lNew Zealand. A large nuniß‘ér of £5 books of tickets was sent out some !time ago to farmers up and down the }country with a request to each that fthc book should be retained and pay;ment remitted to the Secretary. The response to this appeal was very satisfactory the average farmer “evidently welcoming the opportunity to assist the children of New Zealand’s fallen heroes. The Sccretafy‘ informed a representative the other day, however that there are still many of these books of tickets unaccounted for. He has asked us to publish a request that all holders of books of tickets should remit cheque in payment therefor or return the tickets at once. The Art Union closesvfinally on June 30th i being drawn on July 31st. It‘is therefore a inatter of urgency that all! tickets should be accounted for within the next few days, otherwise there is a risk of these numT)ers being} omitted from tlie prize-drawing, A _
