The Concluding day of the Winter Show was held yesterday, the weather still contsinuing. bad. During ‘the aftei'noon and evening the hall was throng-Cd-with. sightscers, the home industries section. creatingi - particular 'intcrest. ' The ioflicials who .had the tru'nning of the Show workedivery hard to make it a success, pal'ticul*al'l.y thev-secretary, Mr A, M. Ryan, and it must have been very disheai-tciring to h‘2ive such advcnsc weather conditions to contend‘ against. In conversation ‘with our I'eportcr,. Mrs Leppor, of Lcppcrton, Taijanaki, who judged the exhibits ‘in the Home Industrics section. stated: As regards the cooking.
