HOCKEY.
The Huia hockey team held a meeting on Monday nigh?, Mr Dunbar occupying the chair. An invitation was received from Feildrng to enter two teams for a seven-a-side tournament, to bo held there on June 3rd. It was decided to reply accepting the invitation, and to enter two teams. It was decided to hold a dance in the- Town Hall on Friday, 20th June, and the necessary arrangements were made. A practice will be hejd on Thursday, at 2 p.m., when the teams will bo picked. A full attendance of players is requested. THE WEATHER. SNOW AT DANNEVBKE. DONNEVIEKS. this day. A light fall of snow was experienced here last night. The weather is bitterly cold.
